No-Limit Hold'em is the network's spine: micro-stakes tables run 24/7, and from NL25 to NL200 you'll find multiple tables at any civilised US hour. Pot-Limit Omaha runs a stake or two thinner but reliably fills through the evening peak; beyond those two, game selection is opportunistic.
Why the games are soft
BetOnline is a sportsbook and casino first — a constant stream of gamblers wanders from the parlay slip to the poker lobby. Combined with own-hands-only HUDs limiting reg firepower, mid-stakes lineups here are noticeably weaker than on poker-first sites. That's the single best reason to play on Chico.
Rake reality
Cash rake runs about 5.55% with no preflop rake, capped at $3 from 100NL up. Below 100NL the cap scales down but the percentage bites harder relative to pot sizes — factor it into stake selection, and reclaim a chunk of it through RISE.
Table dynamics
Six-max dominates; full-ring exists mainly at micros. Expect loose-passive pools at low stakes — the classic exploit of value-betting relentlessly and bluffing less applies in full. Check the traffic channel for when the pools are deepest and softest.
