1. Who we are

BetOnlinePoker.org (“we”, “us”) is an independent affiliate review website. We are not BetOnline.ag, Blue High House S.A., or any gambling operator, and we do not take bets, hold funds, or run any gambling service. We publish information and reviews and may earn a commission when visitors sign up with operators through our links.

2. The short version

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your name, email or payment details.
We don't run advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
With your consent, we check your approximate country from your IP address to show region-relevant information. You can refuse this.
We store your cookie choice locally on your device so we don't keep asking.
If you click an affiliate link, the operator may set its own cookies — that's governed by their policy, not ours.

3. Cookies & local storage we use

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking by default. If you add any in future, this policy must be updated.

4. Third-party services

ipwho.is and api.country.is — approximate country lookup from your IP (only after you consent).
amCharts and Google Fonts — content delivery for the map and typefaces.
BetOnline / CommissionKings affiliate tracking — when you click an affiliate link, a tracking cookie may be set by the operator to attribute your sign-up. This is controlled by them under their own privacy policy.

5. What we collect, and why (legal basis)

We do not operate user accounts or collect personal details directly. The limited processing we do:

Approximate location from IP — legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We process it only to show you relevant content and we don't retain it.
Your consent choice — legal basis: legitimate interest in respecting your preference and complying with privacy law.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we don't hold an account or profile for you, in practice there is usually nothing for us to retrieve or delete beyond the consent preference stored on your own device (which you can clear via your browser).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

7. Data retention & security

We do not store your personal data on our servers. Your consent preference lives in your browser until you clear it. IP-based location lookups are processed in real time and not logged by us.

8. Children

This site is strictly for adults aged 18 or over (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly process any data relating to minors.

9. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up with an operator through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings, our verdicts, or the honest pros and cons we publish.

10. Responsible gambling

Gambling carries real financial risk and can be addictive. Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
