THE COST OF PLAY
BetOnline Poker rake & fees.
Read the schedule behind the percentage. Compare the cap, format and player count before judging a reward.
What rake does BetOnline Poker charge?
There is no universal percentage and cap. The published schedule varies by format, stake and player count. Hold’em/Omaha pots ending before the flop and uncalled money are excluded. Check the exact table row.

ILLUSTRATION · SIX-PLAYER TABLES ONLY
Change the pot.
See the cap.
This is the charge on an entire matched pot, not your personal rakeback contribution. For incomplete collection increments, the model rounds down to a whole increment; the source does not fully explain fractional rounding.
For an exact-multiple example: a $40 matched pot at regular NL $0.05/$0.10 gives $2 before the six-player $1.50 cap. The illustrated table charge is $1.50.
$3.00 before the $2.50 cap. Six-player example; not an account charge forecast.
Compare total cost, then rewards
A rebate can reduce a charge without turning it into profit. With $100 of qualifying rake and a confirmed 10% reward tier, the illustration is a $10 rebate and $90 remaining rake cost. Whether a particular pot contributes that amount to your account is a separate calculation.

Tournament fees are a separate line
Read the actual lobby’s entry breakdown, including any house fee, re-entry and add-on conditions. Do not insert a cash-pot percentage into a tournament budget. The tournament entry planner adds the costs you enter.
Three useful questions
Does a lower cap guarantee a cheaper session?
No. Format, pot sizes, hands played and available games matter. A single capped-pot example cannot establish a player’s total cost.
Can I add a bonus percentage to rakeback?
Only when the qualifying basis and stacking rules are established for your own account. Released bonus cash, qualifying rake and a headline award are different numbers.
Are withdrawal fees part of rake?
No. They are payment costs. See the withdrawal guide for published method conditions.
